Teaching children with visual impairment. The question on every parent’s mind, especially if there’s a disability involved: should we stay in Singapore or leave for greener pastures? The truth is, I had also considered such a possibility, but I have decided to put it off, at least for a while. Leave them because it’s just too bad they can’t afford to leave Singapore? Teaching children with visual impairment. The course I undertook to become a qualified teacher of children with visual impairments did not prepare me for this. For the past 6 months or so, I have been working with his tactile skills, and his parents even bought him a Perkins Brailler.
