http://babyarmstrong.blogspot.com/2004_08_01_archive.html

I really liked Dr. Dix, and am glad Geoff made me choose an OBGYN. She was happy with all the answers we gave her, though Geoff is disappointed I haven't put on any weight. I'm happy though. :) I have plenty of time to put on weight. That's it for now. Diane sent me a ton of pregnancy books, so I better get at looking through them. Becaus...

Elijah's World: March 2005
http://babyarmstrong.blogspot.com/2005_03_01_archive.html
A blog all about Elijah. Proud Mom and Dad are Melissa and Geoff. Thursday, March 31, 2005. Let me tell you about how awesome the California gang is. They got together and made Elijah a quilt! Cate put it all together, and it's the most beautiful thing you ever saw. It was beyond thoughtful, and it's already getting a lot of use. Elijah uses it to practice his tummy time. To see the individual squares, visit here. Big love and thanks to Cate and the whole CA crew. We miss you guys! Long Days Long Nights.

Water of Life - Running to the finish! Sunday, March 21, 2010. The other day I was at the Boulder Running Company. I made the comment that I would likely never get to experience "breaking the tape", and Scott responded with "Well, with that attitude you certainly won't! Is there a limit to the goals I can achieve with consistent and directed effort over the next few years? What if the only thing holding me back is my bad attitude about what I think my body can accomplish! Thanks for this blog!

Uisge Beatha: Exercise is a Four Letter Word
http://uisgebeatha.blogspot.com/2010/04/exercise-is-four-letter-word.html
Water of Life - Running to the finish! Monday, April 26, 2010. Exercise is a Four Letter Word. I hate the word "exercise". Come to think of it, I don't think very highly of the word "workout" either. I think these two words are helping more and more people get out of shape every year. What thoughts does the word "exercise" conjure up to you? You are probably not thinking about puppies frolicking on a grassy lawn, or puffy clouds floating across a sunny, blue sky. Who can blame you? I like your sentiment&...

Water of Life - Running to the finish! Friday, January 29, 2010. Brooks Green Silence Racing Flat. I have been excited about the upcoming release of the Green Silence. The result is a shoe that really makes a statement, and that statement is "I'm here to run fast! One noticeable difference is how flat the sole is, with almost no discernible heel. The insole as well seems to be designed with this in mind as it feels like there is less contouring than the insoles provided in other shoes. But as I accepted ...

Water of Life - Running to the finish! Wednesday, December 09, 2009. Got Time for a Quickie? Hectic schedules and workouts don't often go hand-in-hand so it is often that I find myself with a break that is seemingly too short for exercise. This has been happening more lately as it seems that I have developed the mental block of "if it's not at least an hour, it's not worth doing." That attitude has got to change. Try a quick ride or hill repeats! How about 15 minutes? Pushups, planks and core! The real m...

Elijah's World: December 2004
http://babyarmstrong.blogspot.com/2004_12_01_archive.html
A blog all about Elijah. Proud Mom and Dad are Melissa and Geoff. Monday, December 13, 2004. Test Results Are Good. I got the call this week that my glucose test went well. I'm fine. Kicky (it's my nickname for Elijah) is super active. It provides a lot of entertainment. My mom always told me my nickname was Army Boots, and Geoff thinks my mom must find this funny. Elijah's getting to be pretty strong, which makes us pretty happy. We're just so happy that he's healthy. Posted by melissa @ 8:10 AM.
