So, being an East Coast southern boy, living in California drives me nuts. However, it does have a few advantages. The almost-always-good-enough-to-fly weather in SoCal has to be one of them. Today was smooth, stable air, high ceilings, light winds, and great visibility. What more can you ask for? Today - 2.2 hrs, 7 landings. Total - 35.3 hrs. Great day for flying.

Friday, September 01, 2006. Changes in altitude, changes in attitude. As I have spent more time flying Pipers, one of the things that I have noticed, maybe only in the ones that I fly, is that they are very nose heavy. The weekend plan involved a short XC for Saturday and a longer XC for Monday.
