So the first thing I made was a vanilla cake with lemon curd filing and lemon buttercream. Aside from the two pieces I sent home with my daughter, this is all that's left:. My husbands been loafing around the house with a triangle of cake for the last two days, no plate, no fork just the slice; I guess he liked it. 2 cups white sugar.
