July 9, 2013. I've been "craving" a Copic day for quite some time now, and finally got them out a few days ago. It's not finished, but I need some advice from my crafty peeps. How would you "colour" the crown? Tempted to outline with a fine-tipped gold pen/marker, but I don't seem to have one in my stash. Thoughts? June 14, 2013. Metallic CS and Embossing Powder - SImple Yet Elegant! A simple yet elegant Father's Day card - this one is actually headed to my own father in Nova Scotia! I used black ink and embossing powder for both the sentiment and flourish, with metallic and black layers of cardstock. April 28, 2010. Crazy for Cards - May. Last night's Crazy for Cards class at BB's was great- seven people came down to play with all kinds of goodies and learn some new techniques. It's not a new technique, but glitter lace has my attention these days! Barb asked me to demo it at ScrapFest, and now it's my new favourite thing (along with Glimmer Mist and making backgrounds with Stamp-It's Sponging Blocks). Tim Holtz distress inks.
