Thursday, March 31, 2011. I have pretty much never been on a resort vacation. I have stayed at some nice hotels with my old job but that was definitely not relaxing! Hello GRAND CAYMAN'S and ' The Ritz. Get jealous - McLeod and I leave in the AM and will spend 5 blissful and spoiled days there. See you on the flip side with a nice tan! Been dressing up.for Mardi Gras and Fashion Week (quite different looks). Fashion week party at my store with all my pretty Cynthia girls! A few fashion week 'looks'.

Wednesday, January 5, 2011. Over the past year Jean and I have discovered some good antique finds all over the place. This iron table base was found at a crazy antique mall in Myrtle Beach SC. I spotted it because my Aunt Gail has similar style chairs and told me they were french. She is always on the look out for more but they are very expensive! We also saw a similar table and chair bistro set with the same design at a Charleston antique mall for a pretty penny. We got this table for nothing!

Friday, December 31, 2010. Is it over yet? For me I think it is.I did enjoy champagne though! Now I am back in bed with foot up. Entertaining my guests Anne and Chad (with the help of Jean obviously). New Year's Eve DIY. Well I am in a bit of a 'gimp' state from now until the end of January. I had my 2nd bunion surgery (last procedure was back in 2000). Had I remembered how PAINFUL it was after surgery I might have opted out of it for another 10 years! What the finished product on ETSY looks like.

Wednesday, January 5, 2011. Chair found in Savannah for a steal! It came with the slip cover too. The upholstery is well done but for my look right now I plan to keep it covered. 1950’s Style Metal Lawn Chair - bought in Charleston for much cheaper than I have seen them going for at most shops. Vintage Porcelain Wash Basin Baby Bathtub - found at Hungry Neck Antiques in Charleston. I have been on the hunt for one ever since I saw my friend Lauren's at an event. It has multiple uses! 4 Year Old Interview.
