Sunday, 4 March 2007. Stage 5 - Return to Disneyland. I spent the rest of the day, and the next two at the computer, trying to catch up on my blog. The ridge steadily got more and more scrambly, but relented just below the shelter, which turned out to be empty when we finally arrived there around 1700. Sunday, 24 December 2006. The Countdown is On. Well, its Christmas Eve and things are pretty much ready to go. I've spent the day packing my first two weeks worth of gear into my trusty old Torre, and charged around town doing last minute errands and jobs. I picked up my mountain radio just in the nick of time, as Martin and Fiona Balch. Were just about to head up to Auckland for a holiday! That could have been a tad embarrassing. I leave Dunedin early on 27 December, and should be in Collingwood.
