My name is Nicole Gray and this is my second. Year teaching second grade at rural North Carolina! Before moving to North Carolina last year, I lived in Newburgh, New York where I attended Mount Saint Mary College for Elementary Education and Educational Technologies. During my time at Mount Saint Mary College I worked as a teacher at a local daycare and interned in the 3rd and 4th grade! Friday, November 14, 2014. Wild about "The WILDS". It was a short week at our school! We ended with a wonderful presentation from The Wilds (Link is at the bottom). If you live in Ohio and haven't visited, do so next summer! You will see some amazing animals! My first graders wrote a narrative about the presentation and chose an animal to write about. Mrs Dow's little Owls' Nest. I am so excited to share with you the SLANT Box (Sending Love Across the Nation to Teachers) that I received from Jenn at 2nd Grade Snickerdoodles. This month's theme was "Sunshine". I ripped open the box she sent it in and saw this gem! My first gift - a cute container that will match my neon room! I opened up this cute container and right there laying on top is a monogrammed card she's made me! I opened the card up and see that Jenn has put the "Sunshine" theme in the card!
