We didn't wake up until 4pm today, granted we didn't get to bed until after 7am this morning after a night at the AgeHa club. It gets dark here before 6pm so we didn't have much light to explore, but thankfully the city does come alive with neon lights when it gets dark. Vinnie and Pat's Holiday Adventure 2014. Join us as we explore Tokyo and Dubai this September 2014. Wednesday, 10 September 2014. Day 1 - We are on the way. It's time for our annual holiday blog - this year we are returning to Tokyo via Dubai, with a few days in Dubai on our return. Our flight to Dubai took off at 2pm Irish time with our connecting flight to Tokyo scheduled to take off at 3am Thursday Dubai time. In total it should almost 24 hours travelling before we make it to our apartment in Tokyo.

What an 11 hours - the flight seemed to take forever to reach Dubai. We flew overnight and landed around 4am local time. From our entire flight of over 200 people only 4 or 5 of us were staying in Dubai, the rest using the airport as a transfer hub. Our routing back to Dubai. The worlds tallest building. The dancing water fountain at The Dubai Mall.
