Pottery. then Poetry.then Prose. This is my poetry blog subheader. Tuesday, October 23, 2012. I want to walk down just the right path,. To stir up and smell just the right pungent leaves. I want to lie along the creeks edge,. To cover the massive root of the sycamore tree. With my whole body. I want to live,. To pulse and soak,. To catch the sun in the sparkle of a water pool. And let it all the way in. I want to find the smooth rock,. The striped mushroom,. The magic golden leaf. Orchids grow in trees.

Wild Iris Clay: June 2013
http://clay-woodwork.blogspot.com/2013_06_01_archive.html
Pottery and woodwork: A look inside the studio. Friday, June 7, 2013. I've already shared the new look of my green and lilac/blue glazes. On the new clay. Here are more glaze results I'm happy with:. The sunshine (and my camera) lightens the glaze, but it's actually a deeper, darker blue than before. I'd call the color a deep raspberry, not as pink as it appears here. Matte white with a leopard-looking koi fish. I have a lot of work to glaze! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Where to go from here?
