I was ready to change the world. I was politically passionate. Why does lust, of any nature, seem to fade over time? I suppose the harsh realities and consequences of our actions are discouraging. Maybe it is then that we retreat to our paradise of frozen dinners, television, and La-Z-Boys. Pardon the pessimism.
